Bresnan Safety Net is a wide-reaching, comprehensive child safety program with the goal of protecting our children onTV, onLINE and inOURneighborhoods. The Safety Net program encompasses a number of elements including an ongoing series of community events, across the Rocky Mountain region, called Bresnan Safe & Secure Expos where free digital identification of children takes place. As part of Bresnan’s High Speed Internet Service, we provide free Internet blocking software to parents. Through various partnerships with local and federal law enforcement and cable industry nonprofits, Bresnan Safety Net disseminates child safety resources, tools and information to parents throughout the communities Bresnan serves. Perhaps the most unique partnership is an innovative series of Internet safety themed theatrical productions that are sponsored by Bresnan and performed by the world-renowned Missoula Children’s Theatre in schools across the region.
